Pairs well with

  • UI

    Fira Sans

Its proportional parent for everything around the code: dialogs, menus and explanatory prose in Fira Sans, with the same x-height carried across wherever an inline command sits in a sentence.

BPOZZ Design Note

Fira Mono ships no italic in any of its three weights, while Fira Sans has one for every weight. Emphasis inside code comments has to come from Medium, Bold or colour; a CSS font-style: italic is rendered as a synthesized slant of the roman.
