About BPOZZ
BPOZZ is a small, independent design intelligence library: UI/UX guides written the way an engineering spec is written — precise, testable, and stripped of filler — alongside a set of practical color, type and icon resources. Every guide exists because it answers a question we've had to answer ourselves while building real interfaces.
What you'll find on BPOZZ
- UI/UX guides — 22 in-depth guides on color, typography, spacing, layout, motion, accessibility and design systems.
- Colors — about 1,200 named colors in twelve families, each with its HEX value.
- Color palettes — about 600 four-color palettes with named colors.
- Fonts — about 300 free font families released under the SIL Open Font License, with previews and downloads.
- Icons — icon packs in outline, solid, duotone and 3D styles.
- Image Picker — pull a palette out of a photo, right in your browser.
Signing in is optional: you can use Google or a one-time link sent to your email. Everything on BPOZZ works without an account.
What "documented like blueprints" means
Most design writing either stays abstract — principles with no numbers attached — or turns into a listicle of loosely related tips. We aim for something closer to a spec sheet: concrete ratios, concrete pixel values, and a stated reason for each one, so a guide can be applied directly instead of just admired.
No affiliate links, no sponsored placement
Every guide on this site is written first and monetized second. We don't accept payment to feature a tool, and guide content itself is never sponsored. Where the site does carry advertising, it's kept clearly separate from the guides themselves and labeled as an advertisement — see our Privacy Policy for the specifics of how that works.
Who this is for
Designers moving from visual intuition toward a more systematic practice, and developers who need to understand the reasoning behind a spec, not just the pixel values in it — plus anyone who needs a color, palette, font or icon for their next project. Guides are labeled beginner, intermediate, or advanced so you can find your level quickly.
