    Alegreya Sans

    A humanist sans for the apparatus around an old-style scholarly text: notes, captions and interface change construction, Greek quotations still render in the sans, and Hebrew stays with Cardo.

BPOZZ Design Note

Greek and Hebrew sit in the same file as the Latin, so a text quoting all three needs no font switching. Its Gothic, Old Italic and Runic are historical writing systems for specialist citation, not typeface styles and not modern-language support.
