LatoDidone headlines above a semi-rounded sans. Prata's hairlines belong at display sizes; Lato takes the running text they would break up, and supplies the bold and italic Prata does not have.
BPOZZ Design Note
Prata's upstream description says its high contrast means it will work best in display sizes, and the family has no bold or italic to fall back on for emphasis. Its capitals are tall relative to the lowercase, so words in capitals or title case read noticeably larger than lowercase at the same size.
