Rather than compromise letters to force every connection, Lobster ships many versions of each letter and many letter-pair ligatures, and the browser picks the best fit automatically. Its glyph set is among the largest in the BPOZZ library, and the effect depends on ligatures staying on, which letter-spacing can switch off.
