    Lato

A signature on one line and a neutral sans for everything else. Kept to a name or a sign-off, the script's flourishes read as a personal mark instead of competing with running text.

BPOZZ Design Note

Part of Sudtipos' digital revival of the Charles Bluemlein script collection, whose alphabets were assembled from collected signatures rather than drawn as complete type designs. Measured against its capitals, the lowercase ranks among the three smallest in the BPOZZ library, so capitals dominate every word: set it large and keep it to names and short phrases.
