    B612 Mono

The same design drawn to a fixed width. Keep labels and prose in B612 and switch to the Mono for codes and figures that must line up in columns: the text changes rhythm, not voice.

BPOZZ Design Note

B612 came out of a research collaboration between Airbus, ENAC and Université de Toulouse III to improve how text reads on cockpit screens; it was designed and tested for that use, with particular attention to degraded viewing conditions. The brief covered isolated terms, mixed capitals and numbers, lists and abbreviations — the same material dashboards and status screens are made of.
